Basotho Prayer Calendar March 2011
March
1
- Pray today for the Basotho team, that God will remind them
daily why he called them at this time to Lesotho. Pray that He will shower
them with blessings.
March
2
– As men attend pastor / leadership training with Jim Flora
today and every Wednesday pray that they will be faithful to their studies
and their God.
March
3 –
Pray for Justin and Korby to consistently be able to get to the villages
and that when they get there they will find open hearts and minds.
March
4 –
Ask God to be filling Gracie, Anna and Rebekah Flora with the Holy Spirit
and for them to be able to see the children through His eyes.
March
5 –
Tom Melvin is teaching leadership development to men on Saturday nights,
ask the Lord to give him knowledge and for the men to have understanding.
March
6 -
Pray for 3 Basotho believers in the village of Ha Nko who have made the
decision to be baptized.
March
7
– Rejoice and Praise God with the Flora's and Me MaBusa for her
son coming to Christ, pray that she continues as a strong witness, and
that they both will be strong in the Lord.
March
8 –
Today lift up Justin and Korby's friend and translator
Thabang, ask God to bless
him as he works along side the guys.
March
9 –
Praise God for the Baostho team; he will not forget you. Hebrews 6:10
March
10 –
We know that the God who preformed miracles of healing in the bible is the
same God we serve today. Pray that He will see fit to heal Teresa's
shoulder so her ministry will not be limited.
March
11 –
Pray today for the volunteer team from Highland Terrace Baptist Church in
Texas, they will sacrifice their time and resources to minister to MK's
and adults of K2 cluster during the annual missionary meeting in April.
March
12 –
Lift up Tom Melvin and the group of men he is teaching tonight.
March
13 –
Pray (Col. 4:3), that God will open a door for the teams message.
March
14 –
As Zachary Melvin begins his spring break please pray for him
as he searches for a summer job.
March
15 –
Keep praying for the release of the land in the village of Makoarane in
the Mokhotlong region.
March 16
– Pray today for Jim and Teresa's kids and grandkids back home,
they love and miss them very much.
March
17 –
Ask God's blessings on every conversation (Col. 4:6) and that
he will lead with freedom to speak the language.
March
18 –
As Cindi Melvin leads True Love Waits follow up meetings, be in prayer
that the youth will be ready to commit to a life of purity before God
until marriage.
March 19
– Ask for God's presence in the leadership development tonight
and for Him to anoint Tom with wisdom.
March
20 -
Pray for Tom as he leads a church wide discipleship study on basic
doctrine at Ha Tsolo Baptist.
March
21 –
Thank God for the new Christians in the villages of Ha Khenene, Ha Kanono,
Maqoabateng and Ha Theko. Pray for their faith to grow strong!
March
22 –
As we see and begin to hear of new Christians in the villages let us be
praying Phil. 2:10 & 11.
March
23 –
Be in prayer for the teams that are preparing spiritually, mentally and
financially for their trips in May, June and July.
March 24
– Pray today for Justin and Korby to be blessed, that God will
show them today that he is pleased with them and has not forgotten them.
March
25 –
Pray for Eli Melvin as he approaches the end of his 3rd term of
this years homeschooling. Pray for Eli to find contentment in Christ.
March
26 –
Give thanks to God for the rain, how the mountains are green and the corn
and beans are growing.
March
27 –
Pray for safe travel for Justin and Korby as
they hope to go to a new village called Ramataliso.
March
28 –
Praise God for Cindi Melvin and Teresa Flora as they extend their hands to
the needy and live a life of noble character. (Proverbs 31)
March
29 –
Ask God to provide safety for the team as they travel by truck
or pony, the roads are dangerous as are situations they may encounter
along the way.
March
30 –
Pray for God's direction as the Melvin's put together the
details for a self-development project with chickens for widows.
March
31 – Jim and Teresa are
asking for prayer for the villages where they are currently holding bible
studies. They are planting seeds, watering and weeding. Pray for the
harvest!
