 One
out of four Basotho is infected with HIV/AIDS and the number is
rising. The victims include innocent children, wives of unfaithful
husbands, recipients of poor health care, the promiscuous, and those
held in bondage by the practices of African traditional rituals.

 Pray
for relatives left with the responsibility and financial burden of
raising multiple children left behind from AIDS related deaths. Pray for the children who have become head of households. Pray for the resources necessary to equip and staff the overcrowded orphanages. Pray for the Basotho to embrace the abstinence and purity teachings of True Love Waits. Pray for the Melvin's as they seek ways to use the teaching of True Love Waits to start Bible study groups which lead to new church starts. Pray for those suffering with the virus that they might find hope in the saving message of Jesus Christ. |
