Praising…
Language is coming—slowly, but coming. Mission Aviation Fellowship and their commitment to reaching the mountain Basotho for Jesus. Team members Tom and Cindi Melvin and son, Eli, have returned to Lesotho from their stateside assignment. Tom and Cindi work in the lowlands of Lesotho. ‘Ntate Mahola has committed to playing the Proclaimer for the people in his village. The Proclaimer is a solor powered player loaded with the New Testament in Sesotho. We have been invited to a soccer tournament in our village of Makawana, located in the Mokhotlong region. The chief that recently died played on this team. Nine year old Mahlotsi returned to Mapaleng village after seeing the ophthalmologist in the hospital in Maseru. His eyes are better and his family is grateful. We were allowed to minister to a grieving community during the chief’s funeral at the chief’s village at Makawana. |
 Praying…
Our land request...still waiting on the government to release the land. There may be some new developments. Pray that God intervenes and we can move to Mok! Our children and grandchildren in the US. Hamlin Baptist in Springfield, MO will be sending a Vision Team to Lesotho in May. This team includes our son, Jim! Pray for them as they prepare to come. Pray for the Basotho that they will hear the message of Jesus through this team. Team leaders Alan and Babs Dial and their sons, Daniel and Mohau, will be leaving in April for their stateside assignment. Pray for a time of rest and renewal. Pray that they will represent the Basotho well as they travel the US speaking in churches. Cluster leader Daren Davis and hands on missionary, JB, will be spending time with the Basotho team in April. Our annual missionary meeting will be held the end of March. We will be traveling to Limpopo province of South Africa.
