Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things,

for as you do this you will ensure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you. 1 Timothy 4:16 NAS95 16

Dear Friends and Family,

We hope you are all well and looking forward to the warm days of summer. We are still having trouble getting used to the calendar and the difference of seasons here. Winter has arrived and there has been snow in the mountains a couple of times. May has already been an exciting month.

We hosted a South African who worked with us in the villages to complete a seminary requirement, Zachary took his SATs, and we celebrated Mother’s Day and Eli’s birthday on the 11th. We look forward to Tom’s birthday on the 25th and the boys will begin taking exams at the end of May to complete their first year at the International school. We are also preparing for a volunteer team of Baptist Collegiate Ministry students from Louisiana and Florida who will be on mission in Lesotho from May 20- June 3.

Pray for the students as they work with the four existing Baptist churches in church and community development. They will be ministering in the church preschools, leading after school programs for children and youth, teaching women’s Bible studies, leading a one day mini conference, sharing the gospel message door to door in villages surrounding the churches, helping construct an outhouse at one of the church sites, and leading Sunday services in each church. Pray that this team will receive a great blessing from their obedience and commitment to reach the nations for Christ.

We thank you for your continued faithfulness to remember us and the Basotho in prayer. After spending seven months in a new area, we are beginning to hear testimonies of how the Lord is changing lives. Stand with us in prayer as we trust the Lord to continue to move among these Basotho.
