“First Baptist” Motsekuoa |

One of the goals of the Basotho team of the Lowlands is to: Extend the spread of the gospel among the Basotho living in the Lowlands of Lesotho through effective evangelism, discipleship/training of leaders and church planting leading toward increasing numbers of church planting movements. Since October 2007, the Melvins have been ministering to a group of Basotho who are new believers and desire to establish themselves as a Baptist church. For the first time as a church, they recently observed Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We are equipping and training the group so that they will be able to train others.

Please pray: Ř We have a clear direction from the Holy Spirit in leading and equipping these new believers. Ř That God will send a pastor and that the teaching/training will bring a great harvest. Ř For Ironbridge Baptist Church from Richmond, Virginia who will be ministering to the village of Motsekuoa and the surrounding villages on June 22 thru July 3, 2008.
