Tanki Maoela is a Gift from God

Language learning is never ending and when it comes to teaching, preaching, and conducting leadership training, our Sesotho is just not adequate. However, for the past three years, the ministry has been supported and advanced through the willingness of a young interpreter named Tanki. Tanki is a high school senior who has made himself available whenever possible to help us with translation. He expects nothing in return for his help and has grown in his faith by leaps and bounds. He is training with Cindi to become the first national True Love Waits presenter and has a passion for the youth of Lesotho. Pray for Tanki to be salt and light among his own people.

Bible study and church discipleship class

We thought it would be nice for you to meet some Basotho kids. This is Tanki. He is 16 years old and in his first year of high school here. It has been hard for him these past few months as his family has now moved two times in about 2 months. His family of 5 all live together in one room.

Tanki really likes to play soccer. He was baptized last year and when some Baptist missionary kids (MKs) came to Lesotho in June he was an interpreter for them.
